The Corna Virus threw most countries for a loop. For me, my job made me stay home for a freaking month. Luckily I did get paid during that time. I am an instructor for a technical college. I get paid on salary, so I was one of the lucky ones that still got paid during that time. But some of my family and friends weren’t so lucky. They lost their jobs had to deal with unemployment, food stamps, and the stress and there was so much stress. It was hard for me to watch. I wanted to help, but when you work a 9-5 I don’t have many resources to help. I did offer food or a place to stay. But as far as the money I really couldn’t help. I did what I could as much as I could during that time. I was also worried about my students many of them are still living at home or their part-time job was cut. I called all the students in my class to see how they were doing and offered help by referring them to the school for assistance. I really didn’t feel good about it. Don’t get me wrong the school is well equipped for handling the hardship cases. I knew that human pride would get in the way and the ones who really needed help would not step forward until it was too late and they quit the program which would put them in debt because of the student loans they had to get to get in the program or vets who have used their GI bill to come to the school that if they don’t complete the program they owe that money back the US Government. All these things were on my mind.
So while I was on “lock-down” I was going through Facebook trying to keep up with my friends and family. I started to notice that there were more and more ads about quitting your 9-5 job. How you can make a ton of money staying at home. Of course, the skepticism hit me and I just scrolled through a few times, ok a lot of times. Except for one time, it was an ad that caught my eye it stated “How to help local business survive the Corna virus”. So that started everything for me. So I looked into the program and I thought hey this is for me. I want to help my local community. But the program costs $10,000 US dollars. So I started looking for cheaper programs.
THIS is where the rabbit hole starts. Being an educator I like to research different topics. So I did. First, I came across “How to build a website. Then since you have a web-site you need to get it ranked in Google if you want anyone to read it or go to it. So you have to learn SEO (Search Engine Optimisation). Which now you have to have keywords and backlinks, internal links, and so on. There are tons of programs that will teach you this. They pretty much same the same thing. So why would I need a website? Well to sell stuff of course. So I went into the rabbit hole deeper. The first stop was Amazon and learn to be an affiliate. But during the COVID, Amazon got so big that they stoped paying commissions on certain products or you have had to have a warehouse to store your stuff and they cut their affiliate commissions on top of that. But some people are making a killing off of amazon now. So don’t think that Amazon isn’t a good place to be an Affiliate. There are tons of programs that will show you how to do it. But I was looking to for more a bang for my buck.
So Deeper down the rabbit hole I go. I was reading in the news during the pandemic that something called Shopify was killing in revenue. So yes, I did start a Shopify store (which is closed now). I wanted to learn what it takes to run it. So I can across one of the masters of this. Adrian Morrison, he has trained every week on the ends and outs of Shopify. He even has a step by step on how to start to beginning. I mean it is very extensive. From mastering Facebook ads, which he an expert in, on how to choose a product from Ali Express which is china’s answer to Amazon, Print on demand tee shirts. To his special apps that help bring costumers in and follow potential customers around the web. He has his own artwork that you can use them on. It goes so far to where I was very intimidated by how much work it is to set up. But once its set up it can run on its own. It’s one of the most thorough programs out there. I highly recommend Ecom Success academy if you want to sell physical products or just get products for yourself for super cheap. That experience was an eye-opener.
So Deeper I go, so since I understood that the pandemic will push delivery times from China to the US outrageously long I decided to find digital products. That you can get on-demand. You will never guess who does this? It’s the other Morrison Brother, Anthony Morrison. He deals with Email marketing Facebook Marketing, Instagram Marketing even Crypto. He has a program for redirecting bad links to another offer called BuildRedirects for a $1 trial. He has a program that will show you behind the scenes of his business called Inner Circle with his free book “The Hidden Millionaire” which sold over a million copies, which is an awesome and eye-opening read. Deeper and Deeper, Thing I was noticing was these two big major marketers and many other marketers were all running out of this one program. I see this one Icon in the tabs of your browser over and over. So I did a little research and come to find out it is one of the most sot after marketing tools out there. So I thought to myself, if I learn this piece of marketing I will be out of debt and on to riches beyond my belief. It comes with a 14-day free trial. It also has a very intense 30 Day course. Which if anyone is going to online marketing they really should start there. It gets you in the mindset of how to market. How to Copywrite. You have training every day which will walk you through step by step not only that but they actually have experts look at your product or course that you are trying to come up with. They have a Facebook page dedicated just to your challenge, where you network the other students within your challenge. That means they just don’t show you a bunch of how-to videos and leave to your own devices, you actually have people that help you and push you through the process. On top of that, you have access to see what other marketers would do if they lost everything and they only had 30 days to get it back. If you been online for a while you will recognize some of them.
